There are many Vitamins for Memory that can be effective in improving your memory; however, there are side effects to brain vitamins and herbs about which you need to be aware.

Hawthorn Berries. These are one of the safest herbs to take ... but for some people that are sensitive, it can cause the following:

  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Rashes (skin)
  • Excessive sweating

Gotu Kola. Is also a very safe herb to take but when taken in larger than recommended dosages, it can produce side effects:

  • Headaches
  • Upset stomach
  • Sleepiness
  • Lightheadedness

Rosemary Extract. This herb is considered safe and does not present any side effects unless you take large doses or take it with blood thinning medications, since it causes an interaction between the two.

Schisandra. This feel-good herb improves memory and as such rarely causes side effects. Those that are extremely sensitive may experience a bit of stomach upset when initially using.
